A:Transsexuals have gender dysphoria. This means they are very unhappy as a male, sometimes unable to function socially as one. They often believe that they are a "female trapped in a male body"even from a young age. But sometimes it may derive from differences not fully understood in brain structure. Transsexuals frequently, especially if gender dysphoria is extreme, live as a woman and use surgery and female hormones to achieve a female anatomy.

Q:What is a transvestite?

A: The word ‘transvestite’ means ‘a person who likes to wear the clothes of the opposite sex'

.In fact, transvestites often feel the need, not just to dress, but also to behave as a member of the opposite gender.
Some women do dress up as men, but overwhelmingly, transvestites are men who like to dress as women. Recent research has confirmed that most of these people are not homosexual. Nor do they wish to change into women.
The vast majority of male transvestites like being men.

Q: What is transgender or T-Girls ?

A: It is an umbrella term for people who have an interest in being, dressing, acting, or living as a member of the opposite gender. Transgenderism incorporates crossdressing, transsexualism, and transvestism.

Q: Are Transgenders gay?

A: The vast majority of transvestites are heterosexual. Most are married with children.Some are bi-sexual.This is where lots of men struggle because they dress they think they are gay .

Q: What is the law?

A: Cross-dressing is not an offence in the UK, even under the recent Sexual Offences Act of 2003, which contains a seemingly inexhaustible list of sexual misdemeanors. Nor is it illegal in most other western countries.

Q: Why do men crossdress?

A: No one really knows why some men have this desire. Most men who cross-dress describe it as an outlet for stress, and they tend to want to dress up more during times of tension at work or at home.
Some men get remarkable relief from tension simply by wearing women's lingerie (usually silk) under their exterior male clothing. These guys often go no further than that with their cross-dressing.
Most transvestites, however, want to appear as female as possible in their outer garments, and also want to wear make-up.
Men who cross-dress are not mentally ill.
